Crew of Underground Electronic Musicians NUIT, which has been active since 2014, will release its second compilation album under the theme of “Rave”. It's the first album in two months since the previous compilation album [NUITRAX], and musicians other than NUIT members took part to exhibit a rave that they think of.

Wasido, WOOZ, and HELI all used distinct rhythms and instruments based on the piano to represent “Rave”. Wasido's [Daytime Rave] has an Amen Break rhythm and soulful vocals, WOOZ's [Eclipped] includes a powerful instrumental with disco drums and synthesizers, and HELI's [팽이(Spinning Top)] features a drum and bass that harmonizes light voice samples with the Stab sound.

Furthermore, Bak Junghun demonstrated his low-fi drum sound and forceful build-up in [LOVE SEX DREAM], while Obmil emphasized techno via the Acid sound he pursues in [Acid Punk].
[Hamartia] by rrow is another techno music that blends Ambient pads and Acidic synthesizers over heavy drums. And Keiiti Aki's [Cutery Pop] stands out for the producer's original concepts with funny rhythms and synth tones.

Each artist will give distinct forms of Rave to listeners through this album. This can be heard on music services such as Melon, Bugs, Spotify, and Apple Music, as well as Soundcloud and Bandcamp. Let's get excited about the upcoming compilation album.

2014년을 시작으로 꾸준한 활동을 이어가고 있는 언더그라운드 전자 음악 크루 NUIT이 Rave를 주제로 한 두번째 컴필레이션 앨범 [Rave Generator]을 발매한다. 지난 컴필레이션 앨범 [NUITRAX] 발매 이후 두 달만의 앨범이며, NUIT 외의 아티스트들이 참여해 "자신이 생각하는 Rave"를 여지없이 선보였다.

우연의 일치였을까, Wasido와 WOOZ, 그리고 HELI는 피아노를 기반으로 각기 다른 리듬과 악기와 함께 Rave를 표현했다. Wasido의 [Daytime Rave]은 Amen Break 비트와 Soulful한 보컬이 담겨있는 트랙을, WOOZ의 [Eclipsed]는 디스코 드럼과 신스로 강렬한 인스트루멘탈을, HELI의 [팽이]는 Stab 사운드에 경쾌한 보컬 샘플링이 조화롭게 어우러진 드럼앤베이스를 수록했다.

또한, Bak Jung Hun은 [LOVE SEX DREAM]에서 로우파이한 드럼 사운드와 강렬한 빌드업으로 댄스 플로어를 뒤흔들 사운드를 선보였으며, Obmil는 [Acid Punk]에서 그가 추구하는 Acid 사운드로 테크노를 표현했다. rrow의 [Hamartia] 또한 강한 비트를 중심으로 Ambient한 패드와 Acidic한 신스가 어우러진 테크노 트랙이다. 그리고 Keiiti Aki의 [Cutesy Pop]은 재치있는 비트와 신스 사운드로 프로듀서의 독특한 아이디어가 돋보이는 트랙이다.
